In 2019 Samah Hijawi performed the Arabic version of her performance Godefroid: the Bastard Son of Antar Bin-Shaddad. The performance took place in the Centre for Fine Arts in the heart of Brussels. I was responsible for the surtitles, meaning I made sure the translation of the Arabic text appeared at the right moment above the scene and the audience could follow easily. The translation and surtitles of the performance were made by Lore Baeten.
